Midland Surveying, Inc. and affiliate Company Midland GIS Solutions of Maryville and St. Joseph, Missouri were recently selected by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Land Survey Program to perform a boundary line investigation, monumentation search and perpetuation of existing monuments along the Missouri/Iowa boundary.

Belton, Missouri is a rapidly-growing suburb on the south edge of Kansas City. In 2003, with a population nearing 24,000 and steadily-increasing commercial and private development citywide, city leaders began actively pursuing the development of a comprehensive infrastructure management system. The resulting multi-year project, involving several companies and numerous state-of-the-art technologies, is an aggressive effort to bring the city of Belton to the cutting edge in municipal infrastructure management.
