June 1, 2016 –

The City of Bellevue, NE recently selected Midland GIS Solutions based on qualifications to implement a GIS program for the City’s storm water utility network.  Midland’s GPS field crews will utilize RTK GPS technology to locate features and conduct full inspections of assets to develop a comprehensive GIS program of the City’s storm water infrastructure.

The City of Bellevue is a fast-growing suburb south of Omaha with a population of around 54,000.  The storm water mapping project will allow city staff to have access to accurate location, inventory, and condition information on the storm water utility, which will improve maintenance and operations plans, as well as support capital improvement processes.

Midland GIS Solutions has completed several large-scale data collection, inspection and mapping projects for communities with storm and sanitary sewer systems in the Midwest.  For more information, please contact Kirk Larson at (660) 562-0050.
