Midland GIS Solutions has been awarded a contract with Vernon County in Missouri to provide comprehensive GIS data development and implementation services.
As with all countywide GIS projects, Midland GIS Solutions will perform document research acquisition, aerial photography integration and the accurate development of base map layers, road centerlines and rights-of-way layers, parcel layers and dimensions, along with a host of other data layers. Vernon County will utilize their data with the addition of Midland’s web-based GIS program, Integrity™ powered by Geocortex®. Vernon County, which contains approximately 15,000 parcels will integrate their real estate databases into their GIS programs and also utilize Midland’s Farmland Assessment System, FASTract, to maintain soil data.
Vernon County is located in West Central Missouri about 90 miles south of Kansas City. It shares its west border with Kansas and has an estimated population of 21,000. For more information, please contact Matt Sorensen at (660)562-0050.
